Charm Necklace - Heart with Wings

The beauty of the charm necklaces is their hidden meaning. It’s amazing to buy a charm necklace for a friend and show her how well you know her by chosing the right one. Is she a horse lover, an avid traveller or has a long distance relationship? (a plane necklace would be perfect), is she a surfer and ocean lover or a fan of good luck charms? How about you? What charm are you? What message would you like to convey/wear on your neck?

For a while I was wearing the key charm necklace as it made me think of mystery and success.

Now my favorite charm necklace is Heart with Wings. I love it because of its message of love and freedom. Plus I love the symbolism of wings - extension of energy. Heart with Wings necklace is unusual, beside the meaning above I see it as an illustration of urban life and art…

Endless Summer and Sailing, Partying, Trouble

One of our many sailing trips this summer…

I was postponing writing this post as I don’t want the summer to be over. I got the "summer is over message" right at the airport, when I got back from Vegas, from the Blog World Expo. Every year I try to notice the exact day summer is over. Last year I was lucky enough to still be at the beach on October 3rd. This year we got cheated by a week…

Some of you may love the changes in seasons, I personally wouldn’t mind "Endless Summer."

Starting fall makes me realize that:

- I should start Bikram Yoga (hot yoga) again (excited)

- I will have less time to play because of the busy Holiday Season jewelry sales (worried)

- I will not see these shorts in a while, lol. (happy) Gee, yeah, by the way what was up with that trend?

The BlogWorld08 started today with a day focusing on Entrepreneurs and blogging in the corporate world. I have just checked in to the Wynn Las Vegas and was hanging out at the pool reading the twitters of Problogger, who was reporting on Gary Vaynerchuk’s keynote speech. For those of you who are not familiar with the blogging bubbble, Gary V is the internet superstar and wine connoisseur (www.garyvaynerchuk.com). Some of his words said today during the keynote speech at the Blog World Expo were:

New York Fashion Week - Badgley Mischka Spring 2009 Collection

We could notice a lot of pastel colors during this New York Fashion Week. Just as we thought that we will have to forget about our juicy, bright colors that we cherished this season, Badgley Mischka proved us wrong. Bright pinks and blues will be in in 2009, and so will be all the beautiful powder hues - pastel purples, pinks, blues, yellows…

The Badgley Maischka Spring 2009 collection was inspired by "the romance of travel", the pieces were day dresses, coats showing the sparkle occasionally…

New York Fashion Week Cynthia Rowley Spring 2009 Collection

Before the show…

I had a photoshot for the August issue of the Entrepreneur magazine covering my techniques of exhibiting Lucid New York jewelry at tradeshows. For the shoot, I chose this gorgeous navy blue dress designed by Cynthia Rowley.

When I was getting ready to go to the show today, I decided to wear it and give her the copy of the Entrepreneur issue where it was featured. After the show, I went backstage, met her and gave her the magazine. She seemed surprised but really pleased.

Cynthia Rowley Spring 2009 collection was very special. She was playing with geometric shapes, textures and eyes - eyes broaches and eye ornaments. She later explained that her message was "all eyes on the clothes." I found her collection very contemporary and I would definitely see every single piece in the streets, very wearable.

We can notice a great game with textures - sheer, cotton, leather…
