A French band Plastiscines played at the Alice + Olivia New York Fashion Week Spring 2010 presentation. What an amazing fit! Plastiscines convey a mix of urban and Parisian elegance. Just like the Alice + Olivia collection. From the first words of their song "Loser", we know were dealing with strong, independent women, the women whom Alice + Olivia dresses are for:
"Chaque fois que tu m’appelles, je n’reponds pas… et chaque fois que tu me vois, je te voie pas…"
"Every time you call me, I don’t answer… and every time you see me, I don’t see you… "

Alice + Olivia Spring 2010
Tonight I went to the Alice + Olivia presentation held at an open loft space downtown Manhattan. The Alice + Olivia Spring 2010 collection was presented on models, who didn’t walk the usual runway but were hanging out in the cutout Parisian scenes. Street signs, lanterns, bicycles, balloons and even the Eiffel Tower itself were all cut out and used as a mise en scene for the presentation.

I love this picture. I love the pastel rainbow dress but also the beautiful smile of the model. This dress looks so good with red hair.
It seems that spring will be the season of lace leggins

Inside the Tents – NYFW
This is the outfit I wore today to the Christian Siriano show:
Top – from a cute French boutique – Cop Copine. It even has a metal tag at the bottom saying "cop." The store is full of cutting edge urban clothes. I highly recommend you visit it when in Paris. It’s on rue du Four in St Germain.

Sterling Silver Long Leaf Necklace, handmade jewelry – Lucid New York
I was also wearing my favorite earrings – the sterling silver teardrop earrings. I love wearing them because they’re light, I don’t even feel them and they have this clean, simple look. They look especially good with your hair down.
I cannot begin to tell you how much attention my boots got in the tents and it’s my second season wearing them. Y3 is a Japanese brand, a branch of Adidas. I love them mostly because I can add an edge to an outfit or make a dress look more casual by wearing them. And above all, they are very comfortable.

Charlotte Ronson Spring 2010 Collection NYFW
Charlotte Ronson show was at the promenade in the Bryant Park tents this afternoon. The belts were tied into long bow ties giving the layered outfits a structured look and pulling it all nicely together into a collection.

Jason Wu Spring 2010 Collection NYFW
Jason Wu showed his Spring/Summer 2010 collection today at the St Regis hotel, which was a gorgeous venue with beautiful crystal chandeliers and a mirror runway however a bit too small for Jason Wu. Photographers, guests were all in attendance to check out what’s new with Jason Wu, whose fame grew very fast thanks to his talent and the admiration of the First Lady.
I noticed an interesting mixture of patterns, textures and fun, colorful ribbon like belts.
Shear hat-resembling hair ornaments and sunglasses were adding spice and mystery.
And the shoes were just fun! They were by Giuseppe Zanotti for Jason Wu.

This is what Anna Wintour wore to Jason Wu show today at St Regis Hotel. She took off her signature sunglasses but put them back on when watching the show.
