Winter Shoes

There are two pairs of shoes this winter I’m drooling over. One is this amazing pair of Gucci boots called Devendra and the other pair is this most romantic shoe by Christian Louboutin. Elegant flats yet so simple and classy.

These awesome Love flats are sold exclusively by net-a-porter. Designing them, Louboutin got inspired by Princess Diana, he said he "always wanted her to have love at her feet."

*sigh*

New York Christmas Shopping - Bryant Park

So after 4 days of setting up we opened the Lucid New York booth in Bryant Park for business on Friday. These were very very tough days and the whole thing wouldn’t have been possible without the awesome people helping me.

Mind you, we managed to change this

into this!

The set-up could be compared to a house move. Anyway these days are over and now we are ready to sell all the beautiful jewelry! The booth is located right by 42nd street and 5th avenue, behind the Public Library and across from the Max Brenner chocolate booth… yeah that’s going to be tough. We’ll be here everyday from 10am-9pm until January 3rd.

The Lower East Side place Nurse Bettie was such an amazing birthday place pick - cozy, comfortable atmosphere with a touch of craziness - that’s exactly how I wanted my birthday party to be!

Bryant Park Holiday Booth Day One

It’s my fifth year selling Lucid New York at the Bryant Park Holiday Market. We have a double - 12 by 20 booth right behind the Public Library in NYC. Today was the first official set-up day. The set-up will continue through tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday. We’re opening the location on Friday, November 6th. Today was my painting day. I usually just hire someone to help doing it but this year I kind of started liking this whole painting idea so I did it myself.

The paint is the same color as my sweater, I guess I just really like the "very berry."

Tomorrow I’ll have a van and two helpers to bring everything from the storage, put the flooring, hang the chandeliers, put up the shelves, etc.

Halloween Costumes

Everyone close to me wasn’t surprised seeing me in a sailor girl costume this Halloween. My mom guessed what I’m going to be from miles away…

Mummies, pirates, gangsters, flapper girls, bees and sailor girls all partying after the parade

At the end of the night mummy costumes started to unwrap
