Friendship Necklaces, Cool Laptop Bags and a Fun Afternoon with Melissa Beth

I saw my friend Melissa when she was in New York. She’s a women laptop bags designer. It was a fun and motivating afternoon. We talked life, business, boys, just a usual, fun girls day out.

I absolutely adore her stuff and own a bunch. My favorite is this Carry Me Softly laptop bag, where I have been carrying my MacBook Pro for a couple of years. It’s cute, pink with a polka dot lining.

We’re both wearing circle necklaces. This piece has been one of my best sellers and I love wearing it. It’s a mix of 7 gold filled and sterling silver circles on a silver chain. It also comes on a gold chain. It’s a beautiful piece and has been ordered as a gift a lot. Often I’m asked to add or remove circles, someone once asked me for 4 circles to symbolize 4 children, 8 cicles for 8 years of marriage. I made these necklaces for a volleyball team of girls, 30 of them for a highschool class graduation as a gift from a teacher, and of course I often sell them in pairs as friendship necklaces.
Have a great weekend everyone, it’s so sunny in NY!

Dulce Candy

Meet Dulce Candy if you haven’t already. She’s a twenty something year old writer/stylist posting great outfit photos of her colorful life. She travels, wears beautiful makeup and clothes. She is full of life and positive energy. What a sweet, genuine person! I wish her all the best at whichever successful career she chooses to pursue.

I was so flattered when she chose the frog cocktail ring and featured it on her blog! I love that she is wearing it on her index finger - perfect cocktail rings finger. Oh and have I mentioned that she also does fabulous makeup tutorials? Shot in her closet! I love her Marc Jacobs S/S 2010 Runway Makeup tutorial
Leaving My Greenwich Village Apartment

Today is the day I gave back the keys to my apartment. It was my first place in Manhattan where I lived with no roommates. Only people who know New York, will understand that getting your own place in Manhattan can be a challenge. I was there for three years and loved it. I loved the space, the fact that it was so new and that it felt like home. I loved the location - living in Greenwich Village, I was rarely taking the subways, it was a short walk everywhere. I loved that despite its Bleecker St location, the place was very quiet.
I’m excited about the new place my boyfriend and I moved in. It’s gorgeous. I’m just a little nostalgic…

I used to sit on my little balcony and read, read, read.
Marc by Marc Bird Bag

I love wearing clothes, which I bought while traveling. They are like stories, when I wear them I think of where and when I bought them. I bought this top in Tokyo. I love its kimono sleeves, details - like the gold buttons on the side plus it’s so comfortable. The skirt is from Hong Kong.

I’ve been wanting this Marc by Marc purse since I saw his bird bag collection. I finally found it on shopbop.com but I think it’s sold out again. If you’d like to be on a lookout it’s called "Natasha Bag".

Gel Conference and New York Tunnels Sightseeing

If you are idea and inspiration hungry, are curious about different paths of life, Gel conference is for you. It’s a yearly gathering of artists, authors, people in media, advertising, design who all come to Gel to experience and get inspired.

In the afternoon we went to Brooklyn to see the oldest subway in the world! I’m claustrophobic but besides one moment when we had to walk through a narrow passage, I was ok
