Trapeze

Trying once and seeing if you love it, learning new things, giving it a chance, avoiding asking "how was it?" – feeling and touching "how was it?" instead…

I absolutely adored my trapeze jumps in Turks and Caicos. Every jump is a huge progress – from conquering the fear to better listening to the instructions, always perfectioning the position, doing knee hangs and being caught by a catcher.

The first thing I realized when I was climbing the ladder was that it seemed higher once you’re up there. At first it was hard for me to build trust and just jump the moment you hear "hop." As I continued jumping, I realized it was crucial to listen to the instructions and do exactly what’s said to make it all work. The trapeze swings and there are certain moments when you should jump off, do a flip, knee hang, etc.

After a few jumps I was ready to be caught by the catcher in the air. The feeling was amazing, it was as if I was given a few more seconds of flying…

This picture was not planned, the girl with the swim suit matching my shirt showed up out of the blue!

It looks like the navy white stripes trend will stay with us for another year. I really don’t mind seeing more of this effortless, boat inspired preppy look full of anchors, navy, white and stripes, stripes, stripes.
