Adeam – Brand New Brand at the New York Fashion Week Showing Remarkable Nature Inspired Jewelry Collection

It is so refreshing to see a brand new designer embarking on her first show at the New York Fashion Week. The Japanese born Hanako launched her brand Adeam in 2011. It’s so inspiring to see that she’s already had her first fashion presentation at one of the world most respected places – Lincoln Center during the New York Fashion Week. Hanako’s inspiration was forest, when creating she had a city girl wandering in the woods in mind. I loved that the designer paid a great attention to the jewelry collection as well. It’s so fabulous to see someone showing the entire look carefully tied together. I think it’s only achievable if it’s created by the same person. How can you split or delegate a vision?

The theme continues through these interesting branch looking bracelets.

Bracelets worn on both hands, noticed this fall trend at other shows as well. I love it, I think it ads more polish.

One of my statements on the about me page is that I “always have my customers in mind.” Keeping in mind that I create for you, loving the pieces I make and wearing them all is important. That’s actually my primary test of everything that gets into the Lucid New York jewelry collection – would I wear it? If the answer is yes, the piece is in. A while back I sent a wishbone necklace to one of my favorite bloggers – Chow from Heart and Bleecker. I loved how she chose to wear the necklace as a bracelet. Most of the readers thought it was actually a wishbone bracelet! I said to myself why not and here it is a wishbone bracelet in both 14k gold filled or sterling silver in 3 sizes – 6.5, 7.5 or 8.5 inches. Would you like it smaller/larger than that? No problem. I saw these fan earrings at the Gansevoort Park Hotel during the preview of the jewelry collections, which will be showing during the JCK trade show in Las Vegas in June. I love them. The fans are opened just enough and the bows, which look as if they were tied in a very nonchalant way are very feminine. Very beautiful.

So when you walk into a Kate Spade store – I went there to get my Florence pink bag, which I adore already – you feel overwhelmed and charmed by the tennis theme the designer chose for this season. Tennis is fun and cool and the bright lime green color that we all associate with tennis is so in this season. All the brights actually. Kate Spade went even farther and created a line of tennis jewelry.
