Hello, please meet Anna Sabino. I look exactly like that, only my necklace is longer, I don’t like chokers. I love my Lucid shirt. And the stars are cool, oh so cool!

I have to admit that this is probably one of the most weird purchases I’ve made in a while… Twitter users are all about that now. Soon there will be more users on Twitter with avatars than with regular pictures!

YouTube Star, Viral Videos Princess - Magibon

When a video gets a lot of hits,  goes viral, you can usually tell the reason - famous person, something unusual, well made, etc. I couldn’t believe when I stumbled upon the videos of Magibon… The girl was just staring for at times 30 or 60 seconds… Looking straight into the camera, no, actually really staring. Sometimes the videos would include her speaking in Japanese (saying for example why she’d like to leave the States and go back to Japan) and end with her waving or doing a peace sign. This Japanese anime look-alike would sporadically eat a slice of pizza or have a sip of coke but the action would end on that. 

Why did I notice Magibon and why would I even write about her then. Well if you have a look at her profile, you’ll notice that within 2 years she recorded 59 videos and 14 of them received over 1mln hits, one of her videos got even over 3 mln hits! She receives thousands of comments, a lot of them are hateful but of course if there are 22,000 comments, there are going to be some bad ones. Yes, you saw it right, 22,000 people who responded, some of them even posting a video response of them staring just like her.

Well… I like Magibon. Maybe she makes me nostalgic because I love and I’m fascinated by Japan. But more importantly for me, no matter who you are and what you do (legally of course), if all of your videos go viral, you get my thumbs up!!!
