What I wore:
top: Alice and Olivia chocolate sequined top
skirt: Selma Karaca
necklace: bird necklace by Lucid New York
boots: purchased at Galleries LaFayette, forgot the name of the brand
last day of the NYFW and I’m discovering that there was a chocolate fountain at the Chambord booth… actually thank god…
The models at the Michael Kors show this morning were conveying power and confidence. The pieces were tailored, sleek and sexy with assymetry and sculptural details. Black, white and charcoal with bringht orange, pink and neon yellow popping up on occassion.
The sculptural elements – heels, clutches, were a nice finishing touch to the modern, urban look.
Backstage at the New York Fashion Week after the Barbie fashion show. The jacket I’m wearing is LAMB by Gwen Stefani and the boots are from Hobbs, London.
I have left the tents and the New York Fashion Week for the day but I’m still blown away by the Barbie fashion show.
Over 50 American designers created their interpretation of a Barbie doll outfit and showed it at the fashion show during the NYFW on Valentine’s Day. From Nanette Lepore, Nicole Miller, Marchesa, Michael Kors, Kenneth Cole, Diane Von Furstenberg and many others viewed the clothes of the "global fashion icon" with their eyes.
