Tonight I had a great meal at Cabbages and Condoms. I usually wouldn’t write about food but I found this place unusual. Located in Sukhumvit 12 in Bangkok this place serves delicious food with a mission. The restaurant is decorated with posters and sculptures with prevention messages. All the proceeds go towards sex education and sex prevention programs in Thailand.

    My auntie used to live on Sukhumvit 10 so we used to eat quite a bit at Cabbages and Condoms, it was a fantastic restaurant. I can never remember the name of the dish but they had this chicken dish that was covered in this purple jelly stuff on the outside. It was delicious and its worth going there for that. I love the lights in the trees, it really has an amazing atmosphere. Anyone who is in Bangkok should go there. To go there get off at Asok Station (sky train) and its to the left of the Sheriton, it is sign posted and then just walk down the road to it. Also try the curries there.
  • That has to be the funniest name for a place!
